Terms and Conditions for applicants
By applying for a position through The Nanny Atelier agency, all applicants agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Application Requirements
- Up-to-Date CV: Applicants must provide a current and accurate CV detailing childcare experience, qualifications, and employment history.
- Paediatric First Aid : A valid and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid Certificate is required. Certificates must be no older than three years from the date of issue.
- Enhanced DBS Check : All applicants must hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate. If not already registered on the Update Service, applicants may be required to undergo a new check.
- References : Applicants must provide at least two recent and relevant references from previous employers or families for whom they have provided childcare. References will be verified as part of the vetting process.
- Right to Work : Applicants must hold the legal right to work in the UK (or country of placement). Proof of this will be required before any introduction to families.
Failure to meet any of the above requirements may result in your application being declined.
2. Accuracy of Information
You confirm that all information you provide to The Nanny Atelier agency is true, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from our system and termination of your application.
3. Data Protection and Privacy
By applying, you agree that your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Candidate Privacy Policy. Your information will only be shared with families once we have obtained your prior consent.
4. Use of The Nanny Atelier Services
- The Nanny Atelier acts solely as an introductory agency.
- All employment contracts are entered directly between you (the nanny) and the family.
- The Nanny Atelier is not responsible for salary, tax, national insurance, or any other employment obligations once a placement is confirmed.
5. Safeguarding and Professional Conduct
- You agree to uphold the highest safeguarding standards and act at all times in the best interests of the children in your care.
- Any safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately to the appropriate authority.
- Professional behaviour is expected at all times when representing The Nanny Atelier.
6. Ongoing Compliance
It is your responsibility to keep The Nanny Atelier updated regarding:
- Expiry or renewal of your DBS certificate and Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Any changes to your right-to-work status
- Any new qualifications, employment history, or relevant experience
7. Removal from Database
The Nanny Atelier reserves the right to remove your profile from our database if:
- Application requirements are not met
- False or misleading information is provided
- Unprofessional conduct is reported
- We believe removal is necessary to protect the families and children we serve
8. Email Communications
By providing your email address, you agree to receive communications from The Nanny Atelier. These may include role updates, service information, and (with your consent) newsletters and promotional content. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
